Heh, I do find it interesting... Right. I think that one more of the reasons for Harry/Luccio was the fact that everybody seems to be using Susan to tempt him... and he needed to make a statement - to the bad guys! That he's moved on. With somebody who can more or less take care of herself. Now that makes a little more sense to me than COMPLETELY random stuff. And on Luccio's part, possibly going for another way to control him.
