Murphy stared at him for a moment, then couldn't resist any longer and nodded. Then her eyes narrowed as she forced her breathing to even out. "You're not using your mojo on me... are you?"

The dark eyes did look very innocent. "Now would I do that to you, Karrin?"

"For my Irish lamb with stuffed potatoes? The ones with bacon strips and olives and my secret spicing? And the chocolate-orange cake with mint sauce as a dessert?" Now it was him who was salivating. "I do think you actually would, pretty boy."

"I'm hurt."

"No, you're not."
